Relief Workshop
Relief Workshop Date: Monday, May 11th Time: 10:00 am - 3:00 pm, Please be there 15 min. before the session starts and be able to pay the dues. Place: Casa Del Prado, Room 104. Fees: $80 for both AM & PM sessions; $45 for attending only one session. Plus, $5 cash for rent, tea, coffee, and paper plates, utensils, etc.
Theme
AM: Basic upright Nageire with Vertical Stick or Cross Bar Fixture.
Bring your own materials: branches and flowers. If you are going to use a vertical fixture, make sure your branch is thick enough to spread. Please check your text.
Look at the lessons in books 1 -4, 5, & 6. Also, check pages 32-35, which are very helpful.
Bring a tall nageire vase.
PM: Relief Book 5-19
Bring Canvas (check at 5 Pack 16” x 20” Black Canvas Super Value Pack by Artist’s Loft® | Michaels), Dry or fresh flowers, and branches. If you are going to use fresh materials, make sure to bring some water holders, such as an orchid holder or test tubes. Bring your own tools: glue, scotch tape, wire, nails(?), etc.
Note: Before you leave room 104, please clean your table, the floor, and the surrounding area.
